As soon as I saw this come across the SoudCloud feed I had a good feeling that this track was going to be nasty. If you’re going to remix a track from a legendary group such as Daft Punk, you’re really putting yourself out there and better be on point with all your sounds and I feel that’s just what Razihel did with this new spin on “Lucky”.
Being released only two days ago, this track has gotten over 130,000 plays. Clearly, this track has been catching some major attention for a reason. I’ve been insanely busy these past couple months doing shows and somehow managed to let this incredibly talented producer who goes by the name “Protohype” slip through the cracks. I had seen his name on some big tours and heard his track that he did with Paper Diamond, but I had never gotten the chance to take a minute and listen to his tunes. Better late than never right?
Since I’m almost brand new to these sounds, I’ve gone ahead and added a grip of his tracks on here for those of you that haven’t had the opportunity to see what Protohype’s all about. He has a bunch of projects he’s working on and also has a grip of music coming out on the Firepower Record Label. Dudes got some really good stuff. Enjoy!
