Bassnectar sells out Red Rocks

Bassnectar has proven time after time that he is the King of Bass by providing one of the sickest live shows in the world. Red Rocks Amphitheater holds roughly 10.000 people and he easily sold out tonight and tomorrow nights shows. Like Lorin says, it’s alot more than just seeing a show, but it’s about coming together and being a part of something. It’s hard to grasp this concept until you actually get out and see it for yourself, so if you haven’t had the opportunity I highly suggest it. Here’s a clip from last years show and stay tuned for some of our footage from both nights after the events are over. Stay Crunchy Peeps!!

Flux Pavilion to Headline Global Dub Festival

The Global Dub Festival is guaranteed to drop some super heavy bass in yo face with performers FLUX PAVILION, DOCTOR P, DATSIK, DIRTYLOUD, and DOWNLINK live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this Friday on the 18th. The featured performer (Flux Pavilion) will make his 3rd trip to Denver within the last year, as his prior visits were at Decadence on NYE and at The Fillmore on 8/26/2011. This will be Flux Pavilion’s debut performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater so we can all assume that Mr. Steele has something up his sleeve for this highly anticipated event. This show is a MUST SEE so grab your tickets HERE and we’ll see you at Red Rocks!!

Denver Post’s Top 10 Shows To See This Summer

Ricardo Baca of The Denver Post released a list of the top 10 shows to see this summer in Denver,CO. The top 10 were as follows: 1. MANA   2. DRAKE, J. COLE  3. THE DENVER UKEFEST  4. THE SHINS  5. BASSNECTAR  6. THE DENVER POST UNDERGROUND MUSIC SHOWCASE  7. CHEYENNE FRONTIER DAYS  8. FLORENCE + THE MACHINE  9. JACK WHITE  10. ROCKY MOUNTAIN FOLKS FESTIVAL. Of these 10 shows, 4 are at Red Rocks Amphitheater. I’m not trying to hate on any of the above performers or The Denver Post, but this was a major fail on your part Mr. Baca. You have one of the greatest outdoor venues in the world. Why would you wanna be anywhere else? Granted, I’m sure that top 10 was closely monitored and money was used as an influence on the choices, but I’m still going to give it a 2 out of 10. Here’s Crunchy Creationz’s top 10 shows to see this summer (all at Red Rocks). 1. Flux Pavilion / Dr. P   2. BASSNECTAR  3. Ghostland Observatory / MiMOSA  4. STS9  5. The String Cheese Incident   6. Global Dance Festival  7. Tenacious D 8. PRETTY LIGHTS  9. Savoy/LOTUS  10. Big Gigantic. If you disagree with our top 10, leave us a comment and let us know what your Top 10 shows are that you wanna see this summer  in the Denver Area.
